Weekend Uniform: Ruffle Hem Top

Hello Beauties!

I hope you all had a beautiful long weekend, and for those of you who did not get a long weekend, I hope you had an amazing start to this new week. Luckily for me, I was able to enjoy an extra day away from my 9-5, which I am totally grateful for.

We have a list of home projects to do so, this weekend, we begun work on our family room. Itโ€™s the room we most use in the house so it was about time we gung-hoโ€™d this room to life. Ariel and I spent our Saturday indoors, painting. The colors of this room brought me depression. It was so dark and gloomy looking. I will post about its transformation once it is all complete, so stay tuned.

Since my Saturday was spent indoors, I made sure to get the girls out the house on Sunday. We visited one of my great friends. She made my favorite chili dip and I brought over some wine for a wonderful afternoon of girl talk, food and drinks. A day well spent. It had been long overdue for us; since we are both busy moms, sometimes getting together seems unlikely.

Sunday was such a beautiful, sunny day. I wore this comfortable, casual ruffle hem top from PinkBlush. I paired this top with ripped black pants and sneakers. Pink Blush totally understands the lifestyle of a mother and that of the mothers-to-be. They have a wide range of trends and styles for maternity and for mothers as well; having items that are both comfortable and of good quality fabrics. The top was very lightweight and I did not want to take it off. Its the ruffles that give this top that little push into the stylish section. I got a lot of compliments in this top. It also comes in grey. I wish I knew of them when I was expecting because they have such cute maternity dresses. There is so much to shop on their website, having womenโ€™s clothing that caters to all body types and there is even clothes for the kiddies and babies! They truly are a one-stop-shop.

This top is definitely a closet staple and most definitely considered a weekend uniform.
