It’s Monday - a new week, a new day, some new motivation. I had such a rough week last week. I had went on my IG story and stated I was not going to be blogging for a little bit, just so I can get some ducks in a row; get a few things in order; work on a couple projects I’ve had in mind and find ways to level up!
Its hard for me to stay completely away from blogging, since its an escape. I love to write and find such tranquility in doing so.
Back to business it is. I went to visit my family in New Jersey this weekend and because the weather was not too bad, I thought to wear this cute tweed skirt. As you may have guessed, I spent my day in Shein. For some strange reason, tweed skirts make me think of Cher from Clueless. Doesn’t it feel like she was always in tweed? (I have not seen the movie in years). I think it is safe to say that I am beginning to feel comfortable wearing tweed.
When I first did a look featuring a tweed dress from Shein, I thought I looked absolutely ridiculous. Then I did a look featuring a tweed blazer also from Shein, which I felt more comfortable wearing. Nonetheless, I think this tweed skirt looks super cute. It is perfect the transition of seasons we are experiencing. Whats great about this skirt is that it comes in so many different patterns.I know tweed is mainly used in the winter because it is such a thick material; however I made it work as a transition piece. It has officially warmed up just yet up north, so this skirt did a good job at keeping my butt warm.
I paired this stylish skirt with a black turtleneck top and OTK boots. There is just something about a mini skirt and OTK boots that I love.
