Mommy and Me Embroidery Dress

Hey Mommies,

It has been a while since I have done a mommy and me look. Apart of it is Amelia's fault. She went through a phase where she was not at all into taking pictures. She would purposely make silly faces and ruin the photo and because I will not force her, I left her alone. I prayed she would come around. And finally, she has.

I have been collaborating with SheIn for a little while now and I was ecstatic to find that they also have clothes for children! I could not pass up the opportunity and immediately looked into a dress for the both of us.

Embroidery was a trend that definitely had to grow on me. I was not at all a fan, at the beginning. I just felt it made me look old and outdated. Not all trends are for everyone and I was convinced that this one was just not for me. But I loved how it looked on my girls. I came across this mustard yellow dress that I fell in love and coincidentally that they had for both me and her. I loved the dress so much, especially for Amelia, that I just had to buy it.

I was pleased with the results. I wore this look to a winery with some girlfriends. Since it was a daytime outing, I paired it with a straw hat and chunky heel sandal. It was the perfect weather for this beautiful dress and I got tons of compliments because of it. I loved the way I looked and how it made me feel.
